Description

The compact, 14″ Tall Aon 3 Bookshelf Monitor incorporates a 7″, High-Definition, Multi-Vaned Phase Plug (MVPP™), cast-basket Mid-Bass Driver, coupled to two 8″ Inertially-balanced side-mounted Low-Frequency Radiators and the GoldenEar High-Velocity Folded Ribbon Tweeter (HVFR™).

The BRX, Aon 2 and 3 bookshelf speakers are exceptionally compact, ultra-high-performance speakers that were originally developed for use as nearfield monitors in professional mixing applications. The design goal was to produce modestly-sized shelf or stand-mountable bookshelf speakers that would achieve accurate high-definition sonic reproduction, with superb three-dimensional imaging, comparable to that achieved by GoldenEar’s award-winning Triton Towers. The new BRX was specifically developed incorporating technology developed for the Triton Reference in order to achieve reference level performance. Although they don’t have quite the awe-inspiring bass of the floor-standing Tritons, great care has been taken, and extensive technology has been incorporated, to ensure that the BRX and Aons can deliver a remarkably satisfying full range listening experience without the need for a separate subwoofer.

Both the BRX and Aon models incorporate GoldenEar-designed cast-basket bass/midrange drivers with technology derived from the midrange units developed for the Tritons. The BRX driver is actually almost exactly the same as the 6″ driver used in the Triton Reference. In addition, they all use extraordinary and costly High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) high frequency radiators. And the BRX uses the same tweeter developed for the Triton Reference. Lastly, each BRX and Aon model utilizes two side-mounted planar low-frequency radiators in an inertially balanced configuration in order to properly load the bass/midrange drivers for an open, box-less midrange, while also contributing to their’ remarkably extended bass for such small enclosures.

The SuperSat 60C is a larger, more powerful versions of our award-winning SuperSat 50C. It's very thin depth makes it perfect for wall mounting next to the latest super thin TVs. This is easily accomplished using the threaded inserts or keyhole mounts on the rear. Dual adjustable feet allow multiple angles when shelf-mounting the horizontal center-channel 60C.
Every GoldenEar SuperSat satellite speaker model takes advantage of the extraordinary GoldenEar High‐Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) design tweeter. The HVFR tweeter propagates sound waves and moves the air by squeezing it with its accordion‐like pleated diaphragm, rather than pushing it as conventional drivers do. The result is better impedance matching to the air in the room with greater control, smoother more extended response with lower distortion and dramatically improved dynamic range. Each SuperSat speaker model also utilizes GoldenEar’s ground‐breaking 4.5" cast-basket upper bass/midrange drivers, which incorporate our proprietary Multi-Vaned Phase Plug design (MVPP™) as well as our proprietary computer optimized cone topology, arranged in a D’Appolito array surrounding the HVFR tweeter.
  • Four 4-1/2" high-definition cast-basket MVPP™ bass/midrange drivers
  • Two 4" x 7" quadratic planar low-frequency radiators
  • One high-velocity folded ribbon (HVFR™) tweeter
The Motion FX features dual Folded Motion tweeters in a wide dispersion configuration, powerful bass, and a folded reflex port in a compact, affordable package with stunning performance.
  • A single 5.25-inch paper cone woofer doped for stability and damping.
  • Precision Vojtko™ crossover with custom air core coil and low DCR steel laminate inductors; polyester film and low DF electrolytic capacitors.
  • Designed to easily corner mount, wall mount or angle-wall mount for versatile placement in any room.
  • Convenient push-style binding posts easily adapt to accept banana plugs.
Housed within the gorgeous piano-gloss black enclosure are two horizontally-opposed 12" ultra-long-throw active drivers and two vertically-opposed 15" x 13" planar infrasonic radiators. This dual-plane, patented† dynamic inertial-balancing preserves and focuses all the energy produced by the transducers in order to more effectively move the air in the room, rather than wasting energy moving the box. It also enables you to hear all the fine subtle details in your recordings.
GoldenEar's best subwoofer, the new SuperSub™ Series models are ultra-high-performance yet amazingly compact subwoofers that incorporate many recently developed unique and advanced technologies and components. The goal was to create beautifully styled, finely finished, reasonably sized subwoofers that could generate very low-frequency pressure waves of extremely high amplitude, while delivering accurate and precise low-frequency performance that is both highly impactful and extremely musical. In order to achieve this, the SuperSubs, GoldenEar's best subwoofer series, incorporates a unique, patented* 360 degree dual-plane inertially-balanced driver and sub-bass radiator topology, combined with a very advanced electronics package. With two active drivers separated horizontally in space, as well as two passive radiators separated vertically, the driver-to-room coupling is distributed much more smoothly, for in-room bass performance that can’t typically be achieved with a single subwoofer. The electronics packages that drive the SuperSubs' fully balanced array are a 1600 watt (XXL) and 1400 watt (X) Class D Digital amplifiers whose design is based on the technology originally developed for the GoldenEar Triton One tower. Features include: Discrete multi-band limiting, phase-perfect equalization, fully balanced and advanced reconstruction filters and a strong focus on keeping latency to an absolute minimum. Input facilities include a direct-coupled, unfiltered LFE input for home theater, or stereo Left/Right low-level inputs with low-pass for two-channel setups. Sonically, the result of all this technology is a rock-solid bass response that is both exceptionally fast and tuneful for music and extraordinarily deep and powerful, in order to effortlessly reproduce the most extreme movie sound effects.
  • Two 12" long-throw high-output bass drivers
  • Two 15" x 13" quadratic planar infrasonic radiators
  • 1600 Watt ForceField digital amplifier
  • LFE Line-Level Input: Unfiltered (no low pass), direct-coupled
  • Right/Left Line-Level Input: Variable Low-Pass from 40 Hz – 150 Hz
  • Fuse Size: 8-amp 250-volt slow blow fuse (110-volt version) / 6.3-amp 250-volt slow blow fuse (240-volt version)
The ultra-compact SuperSub X (just a little bigger than a 12-1/2" cube) utilizes the same dual-plane, patented inertially-balanced driver array as the SuperSub XXL, but instead employs two horizontally-opposed 8" ultra-long-throw active drivers and two vertically-opposed 10-1/2" x 9-1/2" planar infrasonic radiators, driven by a 1400 watt Class D Digital amplifier.
