| Content | A streamlined unit that’s packed with power, the ACTION-512A from DAS Audio’s ACTION-500 speaker series is a 12 inch, 2-way passive point source speaker. This passive system is specifically engineered to fit a wide range of applications, from fixed installation sound systems to portable PA. Lightweight and compact, the ACTION-512A is a versatile solution for touring, while its low-profile build makes it an easy fit into any size of studio or permanent stage setup.
Combining a 12M14 speaker for low frequencies with an M-34 compression driver for high frequencies, the ACTION-512A also features a 1000 Wpeak Class D amplifier to deliver stellar sound no matter what your application. Additionally, its DAScontrol™ interface uses a high-range 24-bit DSP, while its rear LCD screen gives you access to a selection of presets, EQ modes, delay, gain control, and signal source mix.
The ACTION-512A features a rotatable horn with 90º (horizontal coverage) x 60º (vertical coverage) dispersion. This allows the speaker to be used not only vertically but also rotated to a horizontal orientation to be used in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor, or even as a front fill. The ACTION-512A boasts a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, while it has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
A versatile solution for touring, the ACTION-512A is an ideal addition to any size of studio or permanent stage setup. Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) technology affords Minx to be ultra–small and discreet, yet still offer the audio performance of a traditional box speaker. Unlike other style systems, which display obvious separation between the source of bass and higher frequencies, Minx sounds truly integrated for the purest possible sound. The Minx Min 12 measures just 3.1" square, but thanks to its 2.25" BMR driver, it delivers power and refinement that defies its size. The compact speaker offers a variety of prime placement options with a standard 3/8" speaker mount. The BMR driver technology used in Minx gives the system an incredibly wide dispersion of sound. This allows Minx to be placed almost anywhere in the room and still sound fantastic wherever you may be sitting. Minx features traditional 5–way binding posts, meaning that you can use standard speaker cables of your choosing rather than having to put up with yards of cheap, unwanted umbilical cable.
