| Content | MARANTZ MM8077 7-CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER
Designed for the ultimate music and movie surround sound experience, the Marantz MM8077 7-channel power amplifier delivers power and detail, and is rated at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 180 watts per channel into 6 ohms.
The power supply features a high current toroidal power transformer along with high power (71WVDC) filter capacitors with a total 100,000µF capacitance to easily handle sharp short-term transient peaks.
Featuring Marantz's unique current feedback discrete power amp output stages that are identical for all channels, the MM8077 is equipped with multiple high-current discrete power transistors that feature high slew rate and wide operating bandwidth to extract the most detail from today’s high-resolution audio formats.
The output devices are mounted on a dual extruded aluminum alloy heat sink assembly, configured in a tunnel arrangement that provides both passive and active cooling. The massive heat sinks feature multiple ribbed fins that provide a large passive cooling area, and the assembly is book-ended with a whisper-quiet fan that automatically kicks in to provide near silent active cooling when the soundtrack heats up.
For maximum connectivity, the MM8077 features both unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs, and each amp channel can be configured to use your choice of input connector. The loudspeaker terminals feature audiophile-grade construction, and are gold-plated for maximum signal transfer, and they can easily handle a wide range of audiophile speaker cable connectors.
The MM8077 features a DC trigger input for external power on/off control, and there’s also dual RC-5 remote control in/out jacks for connection to a compatible Marantz A/V pre-amp/processor.
The copper-plated chassis provides isolation from extraneous noise, and features a multi-layer reinforced bottom panel assembly for maximum rigidity along with triple-layer top cover. Elegantly finished in anodized black satin, the MM8077 features the classic Marantz ringed porthole display with a blue illumination accent that includes a display on/off function.

Easily integrate Hi-Res Audio, network streaming, and music control BluOS App in your C 390DD
Direct Digital DAC Amplifier or Masters M12 Digital Preamp DAC. Featuring BluOS, the music management software developed by NAD’s sister brand, Bluesound, the DD-BluOS module is a complete digital music solution at an amazingly affordable price. Thanks to the forward-looking innovation of Modular Design Construction, you can now add BluOS network and internet music streaming with advanced music management to your NAD C 390DD or M12.
As an internal module there are no external wires or power supplies required and integration with the C 390DD or M12 operating firmware is hand-in-glove. Both Ethernet and Wi-Fi operate in asynchronous mode for lowest jitter performance and allow connection to music stored anywhere on the local network or streamed directly from the Internet using a popular music services like Spotify Connect, Rdio, and Slacker. You can also play music from a USB drive or hard drive via the USB A port.
In addition to a standard Local Area Network, BluOS requires an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet (NAD offers free iOS and Android Apps) to control and manage your music. While the expected functions of Play/Pause/Skip are present, BluOS also brings all of your music together integrating locally stored music (like iTunes) and music streaming services. BluOS does not rely on middleware like UPnP/DLNA/AirPlay with their inherent limitations, but instead creates direct shares with music in all formats including FLAC, ALAC and WAV with data rates up to 24/192. Playlists can be created and managed right inside the BluOS App. Gapless playback is supported and the DD-BluOS is fully compatible with Bluesound High-Res Wireless Multi-room Players to form integrated whole-house systems. Includes an external USB WiFi module to optimize signal strength.
| Looking ahead to the future has always been a major factor when it comes to the creation of our products. With the optional BluOS module, the C 368 can connect to your network and be controlled through a smartphone, tablet, or desktop, and connect wirelessly to any other BluOS-enabled device to create a multi-room High Resolution Audio system. You can also instantly connect to the C 368 through Bluetooth, giving you the ability to stream wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device, and if you’re a vinyl fan, you can also add a turntable. Enjoying music has never been so easy. A totally modern approach to amplification, the C 368 is the ultimate amp for any music lover’s system.
INTRODUCING THE NAD C 368.
Getting it Right
When it comes time to create a product, we never overlook the most crucial of requirements. From low noise circuits to precise volume control action, to accurate channel balance and proper input and output impedance characteristics, we here at NAD do everything we can to get these things exactly right. We also include an MM Phono stage with precisely accurate RIAA equalization, high overload margins, extremely low noise, and an innovative circuit to suppress infrasonic noise that is present on all LPs – all without affecting bass response. Our line inputs can accommodate all kinds of analogue source components by offering ideal input impedance characteristics with linear ultra-low-noise buffer amplifiers to prevent any sonic degradation caused by inappropriate loading of the source device. We include a separate headphone amplifier with low output impedance and very high output voltage capability – enough to drive even high impedance studio monitor headphones. Low impedance line outputs that can connect to subwoofers extend the versatility of this well thought out amplifier. These are all details you can hear.
Forward Thinking
Modular Design Construction (MDC), an exclusive feature of NAD products, allows you to customise your NAD amplifier with additional capabilities and features, now or in the future. The two available MDC slots can accommodate a variety of upgrade modules including 4K video capable HDMI switching, additional Digital Inputs, additional Analogue and Phono Inputs, and one of the most advanced Hi-Res Audio multi-room wireless systems available, the BluOS music management system developed by Bluesound. BluOS connects to your network and is controlled via smartphone, tablet or desktop to manage your music collection and connect you to a growing list of high-quality streaming music services.
Instant Connection
As previously revealed, you can connect instantly to the C 368 with Bluetooth®, allowing you to stream music wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device. The high performance aptX® codec is fully supported for true CD quality sound. Bluetooth can also be used to listen to other sources connected to the C 368 via wireless headphones. There is also a control app that allows your smartphone or tablet to control all functions of your C 368. Adding the optional BluOS Module provides access to your local area network via Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet connection and adds Hi-Res Audio streaming. The BluOS Module also makes the C 368 a single-zone streamer in a complete multi-room wireless music system that is fully compatible with BluOS-enabled music systems and wireless speakers. These are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit every room and extend the performance of your primary music system to create a warm ambience of sound in your home.
Sophisticated Power
In the last few years, NAD has moved away from the old-fashioned linear power supplies and Class AB output stages that waste energy, and have instead developed even better performing circuits based on switch mode power supplies and Class D output stages. Once thought to be inferior to traditional topologies, NAD’s advanced work in this area has created some of the best performing amplifiers regardless of basic design principle. These new designs are very linear over a wide bandwidth and provide consistent performance into all speaker loads, providing a dramatic advance over previous models.
Furthermore, the power supply is capable of 200 watts continuously and over 600 watts instantaneously to allow for short-term musical transients. It can operate with any AC mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts and provides pure DC power to all the various stages of the C 368. This highly efficient supply also provides near perfect regulation of voltage across a wide range of conditions and provides a solid noise-free foundation for the amplifying stages.
Using a customized version of the proven Hypex UcD output stage, the C 368 allows for massive power with nearly unmeasurable distortion and noise in the audible range. Every detail of this design has been carefully planned and perfectly executed to produce every last drop of performance.
